I have written about OPI's fabulousness before.

And now they have gone and done it again with OPI's Retro Fun in the Sun Collection and Nic's Sticks Paint & Go Nail Lacquer Pens!

I love the Retro Collection because these bright colours are a great way to accessorize your outfits and have a bit of outrageous fun without having to do anything too over the top.

All of the colours have a lovely shimmery sheen to them, which means you get colour AND glam all in one bottle.

Peach-a-Boo! is a lovely mother-of-pearl peach that goes with everything, yet stands out from the crowd. Sit Under the Apple Tree is a gorgeous kiwi green that is so light and somehow feminine that you won't feel weird wearing green nail polish in the least! Lemonade Stand By Your Man is a bold yellow that is so courant and will go with all of those primary colours you're wearing this season. Give Me a Coral Sometime is a bright coral that is the perfect accent to any black or white dress, without being too red or orange. Calendar Girl is a nice cherry red with a true retro, pinup feel. This is the sexiest of the bunch, I think. And for a little something different, See Ya Later, Sailor! is a wonderful, dreamy aqua that feels of the sea and adds a little oomph to your day.

And of course, because these are OPI polishes, you're getting a high quality product that goes on easily and smoothly (even for someone like me, who sucks at it) and way outlasts those ones you got at the drugstore.

Another fantastic summer accessory are the Nic's Sticks Paint & Go Nail Lacquer Pens. They come in a host of fun colours, are super easy to use, can be thrown in your bag for a manicure on the go. They are so portable and dry in only a minute, so you can throw on a fresh colour and be out the door, without missing a lick of sunshine!

At first, I was skeptical - how could a pen be as good as a regular brush, but somehow these Sticks are foolproof, so even a dunce like me can get a long-lasting, smooth polish without messing it up! And they dry soooo quickly - isn't the last thing you want to do on a hot summer day is spend it inside waiting for your nails to dry?
