Demeter Fragrance Does it Again – This Time With Incense!

I am a huge fan of Demeter Fragrances. So much so that I’ve written about them both before the holidays and just in time for Valentine’s Day this year!

What is so fantastic about Demeter is that their fragrances are exact replicas of everything you can think of – from Dirt to Pineapple, Laundromat to Play-doh.

And this month, it’s all about Incense.

Incense is one of those scents that is warm and seductive and probably brings up images of white cottons from India and teak shelves filled with African artifacts. It’s also lovely on the skin, something that develops and warms on your skin throughout the day.

The website says that “Demeter’s Incense is centered on a unique core of Copal. Copal is a type of resin produced by plant or tree secretions, particularly identified with the forms of aromatic tree resins used by the cultures of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica as a ceremonially burned incense, as well as for a number of other purposes.”

All you need to know is that is a warm and smoky scent that is intoxicating and completely enveloping.

There are a lot of ways to celebrate Spring – making a roast for the family, going out for a walk after supper as the snow finally melts, pull out all of your spring jackets, hats and bags – but I can’t think of a better one than switching your current fragrance for this one.

After all, there’s nothing better than starting off the season all warm, smoky and seductive.

You can get it in various sizes and prices - from $5.00 to $39.50 - so it'll be the smartest (and most affordable!) investment you make this season!
