Anyone who knows me knows my love of paper - stationary, journals, cards, anything really. I wrote earlier about Laywine's, which is fantastic, but you should know about Pulp too.
It's on the Danforth and the owner Laura has a great eye for contemporary design. Her cards and journals rock (I just got a great Pop Ink one that comes with old school stickers) and she still has the best advent calendars in the city - they usually are sold out by now, but she's ordered extra, so go in and get yours now before it's too late.
And if you are looking for cool ornaments for your tree this year, just look up. She's been stringing and threading them for days now and they delicately hang from the ceiling, so you can really get a feel for what they'll look like on the tree. The pink flamingo is damn cute, as are the little star drummers drumming.
There is something for everyone at Pulp - even her pens are great. And there's no website yet, so you're just going to have to go in person. Yep. Take your pay cheque. You know, just in case.
