Rock the 2012 Pantone Spring Colour Trends With Make Up For Ever!

After a winter filled with black, grey and navy, aren't you ready for a pop of colour?

Make Up For Ever, which I got to try for the first time back last October (and now that I've tried it, I am a fan for life),  have selected some key products to represent the 2012 Pantone Spring Colour trends.

As you can see, there is something for everyone here - feminine pastels, gregarious brights and neutral naturals for those who like to play it safe.

To get dramatic eyes, it doesn't get more eye-catching than Aqua Cream - Waterproof Cream Colour in 10 - Orange. You'll love this intense, yet happy colour and its long-lasting wearability. I love that it's not matte, but has an iridescence to it that shimmies like flapper's fringe in the light.  There's no creasing or smudging, so go ahead and wear this out dancing, in the pool or on stage, if you get the chance. Nothing's going to wear down your makeup this time. I love that you can carry the amazing Tangerine Tango trend (it's going to be epic) with just a hit of colour on the eyes without having to overhaul your entire wardrobe! And this shade in particular, has been formulated by the good folks at Make Up Forever, to work on your lips and cheeks as well. A 3-in-1 product with one of the hottest colours of the upcoming season? Brilliant.

One of my favourite liners of all time is Aqua Eyes Liner. Because it's waterproof, you don't have to worry about it melting down or rubbing off while you're trying to get through your day And yet, it goes on so soft and creamy, it's one of the most comfortable makeup products I've ever used. But that's not the best part: 21L Dark Gray is so flattering and alluring, it's also like getting a smoky eye without having to know any makeup tricks. And matching the insanely soft and pretty Pantone Driftwood means you are right on trend. As usual.

And we must not forget the lips. So pick up Lab Shine Lip Gloss in M4 - Tobacco. This gorgous greige gold matches Pantone's Starfish to a t, with the added bonus of a slick, chrome, shiny finish that makes it look like you've just stepped out of a Bond film. Sigh - don't you want a clutch and shoes to match, now?

Ooh, I love Make Up For Ever! And thanks to them, now you can rock the 2012 Pantone Spring Colour trends whenever the mood and occasion strikes.
