Alaska's Best Wild Salmon Jerky Is a Fantastic, Delicious Snack Full of Vitamins & Protein!

In case you're wondering how to get more energy and lose more weight, one of the not-so-secret secrets is to eat more lean protein.

In searching for wholesome snacks that are healthy and still tasty, I recently discovered Alaska's Best Wild Salmon Jerky. These amazing portable packs of protein are delicious and loaded with those great omega-3 fatty acids that are so good for us.

I love that they are made from all-natural wild salmon from the Pacific and that "each salmon is hand filleted, carefully seasoned and slow smoked over cherry and alder wood for over 24 hours."

This is artisanal stuff, folks and without those harmful nitrates, chemicals and MSG of the jerkies of my youth. Made with only wild salmon, salt, brown sugar, corn syrup solids, natural flavoring, spices, garlic powder, you're getting a healthy snack that is high in protein and low in calories and fat.

And by no means does this jerky require you be portaging a canoe, camping in the outback or fishing off the dock, though you certainly can if you like. Alaska's Best Wild Salmon Jerky is an amazing snack to pack in your kids' lunches, but even better, to take to the office for those 2-3 pm afternoon slumpfests that usually have you reaching for the leftover breakfast meeting donuts or the chocolate bar stashed in your desk drawer. They are so wonderfully toteable, that you can stash them in your bag for that after work sprint to the gym or meeting or for a boost of energy for those long shopping jaunts.  And they're Kosher to boot.

Wild King Salmon Jerky is available in 3 flavours - regular, peppered and teriyaki (sorry, I have no favourite - I love them all) - and four sizes. Another bonus? They don't need to be refrigerated, so you can keep 'em in the cupboard for whenever a snack attack occurs or you need a boost of energy until mealtime.

Wouldn't you feel better knowing that you're snacking well without have to sacrifice taste and being satisfied? Put down the chocolate and reach for the salmon instead. I bet you'll not only feel better, but you'll lose a little weight too.
