Look Good in 2009 for Less with Portia Jewelry!

I have written about Portia Jewelry before - that's because they R-O-C-K! It's amazing the stuff you can get and for so cheap! You can actually afford to accessorize and pick up a new bag, which in these times is just what you're looking for, isn't it?

There are au courant necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, bridal jewelry, brooches, handbags and so much more, all at affordable prices!

Check out my latest finds. And get pen and paper - you're going to want to make a list!

Beige and Bronze Ribbed Shopper Bag

I just can't do small purses anymore. They just don't hold up in my day-to-day life. So when the Beige and Bronze Ribbed Shopper Bag arrived, I shrieked Hallelujah because finally I have something that will house all of the stuff that I lug around with me every day.

It is big enough to fit your laptop, even, your groceries or your work clothes for tomorrow if you're planning on spending the evening out and about...

The thick ribbed fabric (please do not call it corduroy!) adds a little edge to this beige beauty as does the matte faux snake skin accents with bronze hardware. Roar!

And though you can't tell it from the outside, the interior is incredibly designed to keep you organized while on the go - there's a zipper closure, with a extendable and detachable handle that allows you to carry it many different ways (the outside straps are adjustable as well) with an additional inside zip pocket and two slot pockets, all wrapped in a soft canvas lining.

I told you it was great!

And something that I'm sure will be of importance to you as well is, it's incredibly light. Which I am truly grateful for, because by the end of the day, my bag can weigh as much as a Pontiac once I pick up my books at the library, add my notebook to finish up that article along with the files of reference notes, not to mention my wallet, keys, phone, etc.

I'm calling this bag my Beige Beauty, my Saving Grace and my new favourite item!

Natural Blue Bead Necklace

To me, there is nothing more pleasing, more calming than the colour blue. And this necklace is a celebration of all the shades, strung together on a beautiful soft cord, that is - get ready for this - adjustable, so you can wear it as long (32 inches) or short as you like.

Now that is a modern woman's necklace - you put it where you want it depending upon the design and neckline of what you're wearing! Fabulous!

These natural beads adds depth and interest to any outfit. And in between outfits, it's going to sit in a glass bowl on top of my desk, so that I can enjoy the colours throughout the day, no matter what I'm wearing.

A necklace that you want to put on display? If that's not a testament to its beauty, I don't know what is...

Smoke Grey Pearl & Crystal Choker

I love getting dressed up and there is nothing dressier than this 1950's style choker necklace. Think Audrey Hepburn, Mad Men and Grace Kelly mixed with the upscale design of today's couture.

Sure you could wear this beautiful three row smoke grey pearl choker with a floral design in an antique setting with clear crystals pendant with a black dress. That would be nice.

But what about a crisp white shirt and dark jeans? What about a fitted tee and pencil skirt? Now you're talking.

And now you're a modern gal with an eye for great design from the past.

You'll be the envy of everyone in the room. Natch.

This bold princess cut amethyst ring was made for me. It's stunning and attention-getting getting without being too blingy or tricked out. Just what I like.

This 1940's inspired glam ring (rhodium plated) has an amethyst princess cut center that is big, but not gratuitous. Triangular baguettes in clear CZ's are on either side with elegant prongs and detailed band in 14k white gold plating.

So while it might not be hundreds of dollars, it's not cheap thing from the bargain jewelry chain in the mall. This isn't going to tarnish and chip and break like those put ons. This is the real deal - just for way less.

My fella and I ducked into a greasy spoon for breakfast last week before a long walk of window shopping and talking. The waitress stared at my ring for a long time and then approached me to say how it was the most beautiful ring she'd ever seen. She didn't think she could afford a real ring of this stature, but she was besotted.

You should have seen the look on her face when I told her that not only were those not diamonds, but she could order one herself for a ridiculously low price. She just about fell over.

Change your life and your look without draining your pocketbook. Orders ship next day, so order now.
