One of the coolest eco companies out there, Revenge Is... is making a difference with their t-shirt, hybrid mugs and bags!
Their t-shirts for both men and women are sexy, soft and get this - made out of plastic water bottles (with organic cotton)! The fit is fantastic. It skims you in all the right places with a soft, jersey just-pulled-it-on-while-I-tumbled-out-of-bed look, and the feel? Ultra luxurious! In fact, you'll want to switch to wearing only plastic bottle tees from now on. There's gray, black and just organic cotton, but trust me when I tell you that you're going to want to plastic bottle one!
Get one for you and for each of the folks on your list!
I'm also loving the Tuck Away Reusable Bag! The fabric is made using 100% PET polyester - a durable polyester made from recycled plastic bottles! Woo woo!
It has nice long straps so you can actually wear it over your shoulder and has a hook should you want to attach it to your bag or card. It holds a ton of stuff, it's good lookin' and it's washable, which means you just got yourself one cool bag to keep on hand and make life easier!
Revenge Is... is one of my favourite new eco finds. Check them out!
Passionfly is a unique product- eco-friendly portable art. Their passion is to "inspire people to protect wild places and creatures." 10% of profits are contributed to land conservation.
Artist, designer and architect Anne Johnson has created a line of note cards, enclosures and gift cards that are "designed to bring threatened species and their environments to the attention of others through art."
Using renewable and recycled paper and soy-based non-toxic inks and minimal and recyclable packing, this is art that you can feel good about purchasing.
The beautifully hand-printed art is done in a classic and muted colour scheme with a kind of lino cut or Japanese wood block look and appeal.
The Pupfish amongst the reeds against the warmest blue water is calming, the Desert Dace juxtaposed to the mocha background is simply stunning, and the robin's egg blue Sea Turtles on a gold background is sweet and touching.
Giving this portable art this season is a no-brainer as are the enclosures, which you're going to need to finish off your gift wrapping!
Support the arts and nature all at once with Passionfly this holiday season!
The Green Garmento
If you or someone you know is always dropping off and picking up your dry cleaning in a plastic bag, have I got a great green solution for you!
The Green Garmento is a reuable dry-cleaing bag. Get yourself two so that you have one to drop off and one to fill up! It is a fantastic eco-friendly alternative to using single-use plastic drycleaning bags.
By choosing to use the garmento, you are saving landfills from more plastic bags and helping save dry-cleaners on the cost of bags.
And if you don't dry clean your close, you can use it as a garment bag for suits and dresses in the closet, a duffel bag for laundry or dropping off donation clothes - even as a laundry hanmper for dirty clothes! See all of the possibilities?
Made from 100% biodegradable polypropylene – the same material used for the reusable grocery bags - it's machine washable and absolutely fantastic!
