Feeling the Itch to Organize Now That Spring Has Officially Begun? Then Check Out The Great Tools at Paris Presents!11:21 am
Recently I went through my bathroom cabinet. I had a bunch of stuff that I’d never even used, and things stuck in the back that I’d forgotten about.
It wasn’t a totally disaster in there, but it does take diligence to go through it every 3 months or so just to make sure that things aren’t getting lost.
One thing I do like to do every spring is change my makeup tools and reorganize my makeup from the year before.
I went looking online and found all of my needs at Paris Presents!
I threw out all of my old, dilapidated brushes and replaced them with the most beautiful Studio Basics ones.
The Skin Perfection Foundation & Concealer Brush is a 2-in-1 brush that makes your skin look fantastic, thanks to its taklon bristles that don’t absorb makeup. I have been using a sponge to apply my liquid foundation since I was a teen and my fingertips to blend in my concealer. Thanks to this brush, I have finally blossomed into a grown woman when applying my makeup! Ha ha!
I am super excited about the Blush Brush because I have been using the same cheap brush since I was in my early twenties and it’s never been all that great to begin with – just something I picked up along the way and never thought about replacing.
This brush is so soft luxurious and what a difference it’s made in my look! My blush has never looked this good! I feel like a model!
And I have always, always, ALWAYS wanted to do the smoky eye thing, but don’t know what the heck to do and have been too intimidated to try it on my own. But now I have the Smoky Eyes Eye Blending & Smudging Brush that makes it easy to do – you use the larger brush end to apply to shadow and the smaller brush to blend and smudge to create the smoky look. My fella and I are going out this weekend to celebrate our anniversary. I’m going to debut my smoky look then! I can’t wait (and now that I’ve practiced at home with my brush, I know I won’t look like a vampire when I am out in public!!)!
The other thing I wanted to replace was my manicure and pedicure tools. All of my stuff had bits of rust from the moisture in the bathroom and well, it was time for a do over!
I love the green and purple tools from Ms. Pedicure!!! What fun! And the Tip Top Toes Kit is everything you need all in one very tiny little package! It comes with a Toenail Clipper, Foot Brush & File, Mini Contoured Salon Board, Comfort Toe Separators, Wood Cuticle Sticks, and Carrying Case. And it’s tiny enough that you can stash in your bag or luggage and not feel like you’re carting the world along with you. Fantastic!
And the Groom & Go Kit from Ms. Manicure is a wonderful little saving grace package. This set includes a Mini Cuticle Trimmer, Mini Cuticle Pusher, Mini Sapphire Metal File, and Side Nail Clipper, so you can have beautiful hands and nails without all of the bulk. This small little set is perfect for keeping in your purse!
And I love, love, love the Ms. Manicure Matchbook Emery Board Set! I dislike carrying around a nail file in my purse, but sometimes when you’re on the go, you’ve got a torn nail and it drives you crazy until you can file it away. This is the perfect solution – this tiny little matchbook contains 12 brightly coloured emery boards the size of an Eyeshadow application, so you can file your nails on the go! One of the best ideas in beauty care I’ve seen!
And for travel, I’m loving the Translucents Bottle Collection where you can get containers for all that you need to make your trip comfortable. I got a soap dish and toothbrush holder in blue and the 3 oz Travel Bottle Pack for my liquids. It comes 4 colours to a pack and with 4 marked labels – shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and body lotion – and 2 blank.
And just to make it a little more fun, I got a Razzable Animal Sponge. I figure that I always get a fresh sponge to take on a trip with me, why not get something silly? Frankie Von Frog is coming along on my next trip and I’ve gotta tell you – he’s pretty excited!
And be sure to check out the entire Paris Presents line – I’m sure you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for.
I know I did.
