Sunbeam Candles are Made with Much Love and Solar Power!

There are a lot of candle companies to choose from and yes, you can even get scented ones at the Dollar Store, but do you really want to be burning candles that are that cheaply made?

Just imagine what they’re doing to your body and the environment around you.

That’s why I was thrilled to find Sunbeam Candles!

Sunbeam makes high-quality, earth-friendly candles are hand poured in small batches and their candle shop is powered using solar energy and was built using salvaged and recycled materials!

And not only do they live by their beliefs, but they extend them by supporting local and regional businesses! They also ask that you please recycle or reuse their packaging. If you can’t, then you can send all of the packing materials back in the box back to them and receive a free candle with your next order as a way of thanks.

That’s pretty extraordinary. Imagine what a different world this would be if companies like Coca-Cola, IBM and Campbell’s did that?

I am ecstatic by what Sunbeam represents and their candles come in all shapes, sizes and scents, so there’s something for everyone.

Here are the ones that I tried:

100% Pure, Filtered Beeswax Dipped Tapers, which have unbleached 100% cotton wicks. These candles burn clean and burn with “minimal soot buildup around the wick” They are known to burn for longer than other types of candles and they produce 100% natural, renewable fuel for light and purifies the air by emitting negative ions.

They really add a warmth to the room and their scent is unmistakably comforting. You’ll want to make these your new staple candle!

Pure Soy is Sunbeam’s original 100% Eco-Soy Candle. They are unscented, additive-free, hypoallergenic and biodegradable, making it the perfect gift for someone that wants to enjoy the warmth and glow of a candle without all of the unhealthy extras.

“A Gift of Love” Red Beeswax Pillars contain 100% pure beeswax, 100% cotton wicks and are coloured using earth-friendly dyes. It is not scented except for the beeswax smell and its paraffin free! Sure it makes a great gift, but you’ll want to get one for yourself while you’re at it!

Queen’s Bee Mother’s Candle has essential oils of lavender and “is handcrafted to honour the enduring spirit of Mothers everywhere.” The dark purple colour is a great modern accent, especially if you have a lot of black, brown and red furniture and accessories, and of course lavender is soooo soothing, there’s nothing else like it!

The Birthday Candle with orange, grapefruit and cedarwood essential oils is a perfect way to show you care! The label reads: “Happy Birthday! You are a shining lights and a wonderful gift to this world.”

Isn’t that better than anything you could’ve come up with?

The Navy Blue Candle for Peace was crafted “in the spirit of world peace and peace of mind. A portion of the profits from this candle will be donated to various charities” which you can view on the website.

It has a blend of ylang ylang, pine needles and patchouli which is incredibly rejuvenating and invigorating and a wonderful way to liven up your work/live space!

My favourite smelling one of all is the Blessing Candle. With Beeswax, Soywax and Essential Oils of lemongrass, sage and ginger, the smell is fresh and clean. Everyone that came over while it burned remarked on how great our place smelled! I love the bright lime colour and every time I lit it, I thought of the words on the label – “Like a prayed cast to the wind, may the light of this candle illuminate your blessings” – and said a little prayer.

How many products that you’ve purchased lately would inspire you to do that?

Check out the Sunbeam Candle website to peruse their selection and place your order.

You'll be so glad you did.

I know I was.
